As much as I complain about it, I actually love to cook. I just get sick of doing it every day. For me, cooking is my creative outlet. I like looking up recipes and then going rogue. This doesn’t always turn out well, but when it works, the outcome is worth sharing.
I found this recipe on Pinterest and altered it a bit to create this wonderful gem.
Lovely Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 minced onion
1 teaspoon Agave
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
20 shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 box cooked spaghetti noodles
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
All you have to do is sauté the garlic and onions in the olive oil until the onions are translucent. Then add the Agave and lemon juice. Next add the shrimp and sprinkle some garlic salt, pepper and chili flakes on it. Once the shrimp look pink enough, mix everything with the cooked noodles in a large bowl. Lastly, add the fresh parsley to the mix. So yum!
